Good coverage, simple process

I purchased the Faye International Plan for my trip to Europe last month, along with the Faye Rental Car Insurance Add-on. The online quote process was really straightforward; I just plugged in my dates and destination. Getting the policy document took about 10 minutes after payment. Thankfully, I didn't have to file any claims, but knowing I had the Faye 24/7 Customer Support available was reassuring. I did use the Faye Mobile App a couple of times just to check my policy details, and it worked fine. The overall experience felt smooth and professional. No complaints here, it did exactly what I needed.

Fair value for a first timer

This was my first time buying travel insurance, and I was looking for the best deal. I got the Faye Single Trip Plan for a short getaway. I found a limited-time offer on their site, which saved me a bit compared to the regular price. It wasn't a huge discount, but every bit helps. The cost felt reasonable for the coverage provided, especially since I added the Faye Baggage Coverage. I checked out a few competitors, but Faye seemed to offer a good balance of features and price. I'd consider them again for future trips if the deals are there.

Decent service, minor app issue

I opted for the Faye International Plan with the Faye Cancel For Any Reason Add-on for my recent overseas trip. The purchase was easy enough on their website. The pricing was competitive, especially with a new customer discount I found. Delivery of the policy documents was prompt. I tried using the Faye Mobile App to check my policy details once, and it crashed on me, though it worked fine after reopening. Customer support was responsive when I had a question about pre-existing conditions waiver before buying. Overall, it's a solid choice, but the app could use some stability improvements.

What's the deal with their annual multi-trip plan? Is it really cheaper if I travel a lot for work?

P Priya Carter 1 month ago
If you travel even like 3-4 times a year, the annual plan is usually way more cost-effective. I switched to it and it's saved me a bunch compared to buying single plans every time.

Definitely cheaper if you're a frequent traveler. Saves you the hassle of getting new insurance for every trip too. Just make sure the coverage limits work for all your destinations.

How does Faye stack up against World Nomads? Planning a big backpacking trip and need something solid.

D Dana Lindqvist 1 month ago
I used World Nomads before and then switched to Faye for my last trip. Faye's app is a lot better and easier to use for claims, felt more modern. Coverage seemed pretty similar for adventure stuff though.

World Nomads is good, but I think Faye's customer support is more responsive. Plus, the digital claims thing is a huge plus.

Are their 'Cancel For Any Reason' add-ons actually good? Seems too good to be true.

A Anna M. 1 month ago
It's legit, but read the fine print. Usually, you only get back a percentage of your non-refundable costs, not 100%. But yeah, it works if you need it.

I got it for a trip last year and had to cancel for something random. Got about 75% back, which was way better than nothing. Worth it for peace of mind.

Thinking of getting an international plan. Do they have any deals for new customers right now? Or maybe a student discount?

L Lisa G. 1 month ago
Definitely check their site. They often have new customer codes or like 15% off international plans. I got a student discount last spring, so that's probably still around.

Yeah, I saw a new customer deal last week, usually 10-15% off. And they do have student discounts, just make sure to look for it during the quote process.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knows if Faye covers pre-existing conditions? My mom needs some for our trip next month.

J James G. 2 months ago
Yeah, they do. I got it for my dad last year. You just gotta make sure you add the Pre-existing Conditions Waiver when you're getting your quote.

I think they do, but it's usually an add-on. Make sure to specify that when you're building your plan, otherwise it might not be included automatically.
